Ribs & Rods is our annual car show and cook off in Temple located at the Draughon-Miller Airport at 7720-F Temple, Texas 76501. Ribs & Rods gates will open May 15th at 5:00 and run until the movie night movie Dazed and confused ends, roughly 11pm for Friday. Then gates will reopen at 8:00 on Saturday with several games and events to involve the whole family. Car show awards will be at 5:00.

The Original Car Show and BBQ Cook off- Ribs & Rods is a weekend full of amazing custom and classic cars and Texas’ best BBQ teams competing and collaborating to raise money for the local Ronald McDonald house. Show off your vehicle, and BBQ skills or join us as a spectator, for live music, and events such as our rib eating contest, pinup competition and more. Be sure to bring your appetite as BBQ judges will be needed and several great food vendors will be on site.
