DESCRIPTION:The Scavengers 16th Annual Car Show will be held Sunday\, July 30th\, 8AM-2PM at the Mermaid Events Center in Mounds View. Awards ceremony will be held at 1PM.\nThis year’s show is shaping up to be better than ever with tons of great giveaways and raffles including our famous custom painted trash cans and pedal car\, a delicious bake sale by the Scavengerettes to support local charities\, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to help the fight against childhood cancer and food from the Mermaid.\nAwards include the “Top 10 on HWY 10” as chosen by the show participants\, Scavengers Pick\, Young Gun\, Spectators Choice\, Kids Choice\, Best Bike\, Mermaid Choice and more!\nNew this year to our show is the Young Backyard Builders Program by Veit Automotive Foundation. SUMMARY:3rd Annual HAF Car and Bike Show
DESCRIPTION:We are the Hunter Alexander Frank Memorial Foundation\, and this year we will be hosting our\n3rd annual fundraising benefit on September 16th \n\, 2023\, at the Steele County Beer Gardens. \nHunter Frank was born in Owatonna in April of 2000. He grew up in\nOwatonna\, where he graduated from Owatonna Senior High in 2018.\nImmediately after graduating\, he enlisted with the U.S. Navy as an Aircrewman\nwith the VP-26 Tridents. Sadly\, on October 17th \n\, 2020\, he lost his life while on \ndeployment to El Salvador.\nIn 2021 Brandon\, Hunter’s older brother and President of the\nFoundation\, hosted a Memorial Motorcycle Ride around the Waseca/Owatonna\narea. The turnout from the ride inspired his family to go bigger\, and in 2022 they\nhosted the 2nd Memorial Ride\, followed by a benefit dinner and silent auction\,\nwhere we raised $10\,500 that was then donated to WWFS in Hunter’s name.\nHunter was always a beacon of joy to those around him\, and he was always willing to drop\neverything to help out anyone in need. To honor his memory and carry on his legacy\, his friends and\nfamily have formed the Hunter Alexander Frank Memorial Foundation. It is our mission to provide\nsupport to service members and the families of service members. We have been doing so by hosting\nan annual fundraising event and donating the proceeds to Wounded Warriors Family Support. WWFS\nis a foundation based in Nebraska that provides support for veterans and the families of veterans\nnationwide. For more information on WWFS\, please visit www.wwfs.org.\nWhat can you do to help? This year\, we are hosting a Car and Bike Show along with the 3rd\nAnnual Memorial Ride on Saturday\, September 16th\, 2023. We will also have a cornhole tournament\,\nsilent auction and include live entertainment and other family-orientated activities for a full day’s worth\nof fun! Our new goal for the year is to raise $15\,000 to donate to the Wounded Warriors Family\nSupport\, which we cannot achieve without the help of the community. There are a number of ways\nthat would help us tremendously\, and we will be acknowledging all of those who help on any level.\nSilent Auction Donation: This is a huge source of our funding. Anything that we can include in\nour silent auction\, such as gift certificates\, merchandise\, or services\, will help go a long way in helping us\nachieve our goal.\nSponsorship Opportunity: We have 3 sponsorship levels to choose from in order to help support\nour cause: Bronze\, Silver\, and Gold. Details of these levels are on the included donation form.\nOther Monetary Donations: If you wish to donate\, we are happy to accept any amount. In return\,\nyou will be recognized as a sponsor for the event!\nVolunteering: Due to the full day of activities we have planned\, we would love to include anyone\nwilling to volunteer their time or services (if applicable to our event) to help make sure that everything runs\nas smoothly as possible.

DESCRIPTION:5744 Main Street Putney\, Stratford\, CT 06614\nSunday – May 19\, 2024 – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM \nBeautiful Park setting car show presented by the Port 5 Naval Veterans of Bridgeport\, CT. This is an Official Connecticut Cruise News Ring Event with 10 Rings to be awarded as well as many Special Awards and Field Trophies. \nProceeds benefit many veteran and community charities. A short list is: Fidelco Guide Dogs\, Homes for the Brave\, the Men’s and Women’s Homeless Shelter\, the Veteran’s Food Pantry\, West Haven Veterans Hospital\, CT Burns Camp Foundation and the Seymour Lions Club.  \nDash Plaques & Goodie Bags to first 200 show vehicles – Food – Music – Flag Raising Ceremony to honor all veterans. \n$20 per show vehicle – no cut-off year! \nThe Ladies Auxiliary will have a bake sale and a large selection of raffle baskets with fabulous prizes. Food sold will include egg sandwiches\, hot dogs\, hamburgers\, and other hot sandwiches.  \nThe Park has many free events from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Features blacksmithing\, model trains\, art show\, rose garden\, live music\, demonstrations and tours of historic buildings. DESCRIPTION:The 3rd Annual Wayzata is on Sunday\, 9/15\, hosted by the Wayzata Masonic Lodge. \nIt’s a free-will donation for car entries and all the proceeds will go towards local High-School Scholarships for graduating Seniors in Spring of 25′. All Makes\, Models\, Years & Motorcycles are welcome! 10 AM – 2 PM\, Rain or Shine. Car participants park along Minnetonka Ave S and Lake Street E in Downtown Wayzata along lake Minnetonka.  \n– Same day registration; begins at 9 AM (free will donation\, $15 suggested)\n– First 125 cars get Dash Plaques and a small goody bag\n– Trophies for Best of Show vehicle\, nine People’s Choice vehicles\, and Best Motorcycle\n– Fire Department will have a pancake breakfast at Fire hall from 8 AM – Noon\n– A couple food trucks will be onsite\n– Music \nFree to the public: bring the whole family for a fun day in Downtown Wayzata!
