DESCRIPTION:Discover Victoria Classic Car Night 2021\nWe’re getting excited for the first car show – The volunteers for Classic Car Night wanted to remind everyone that this year\, we’re doing things a little bit different than in the past. Because Classic Car shows are 100% run by volunteers\, there are some expenses that we incur (insurance for the events\, signage\, etc) that we need to raise money to pay. We need to charge a little fee to car participants\, just so that we can keep the show going. In exchange for the $5 entry fee each show (or $25 for a season pass)\, you will get entered into a weekly drawing for a gift basket filled with gift cards or other prizes from local businesses in Victoria. Every week we’ll have a drawing\, not just one basket at the end of the season like we’ve done in the past. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding with this change – we can’t wait to see you all out at the car shows this summer! The events will be fun for the whole family – there will be live music down at the bandshell\, as well as food and drinks at several establishments in town. Hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Hi all\, We are looking forward to\, and are planning for\, our 2021 event. As you all know. this is a large event (almost 12\,000 cars!) and can not be put together in a few weeks at the last minute or moved to another State. This event is run by all volunteers. Unlike other large car shows\, MSRA is not a corporation/business that puts it on\, it is AN ALL VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATION of car clubs and individual members. We have 2000 amazing volunteers who love the event and devote their time to work the 4000 shifts it takes to make this one\, if not the #1\, car show in the country.\nIt is time for a reminder to members of this community of the purpose for this Facebook page as I have received several reports of posts and comments. Our community is a place to share car show related posts about Back to the 50’s Weekend. This weekend is not a trophy show – it is a family\, friendships\, food\, fellowships\, vendors\, and entertainment event. It is NOT a place to post political images and/or comments! As admin of this page I will delete all political comments!
