DESCRIPTION:BOOKMARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR SUNDAY OCTOBER 27TH\, 2019\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE ROUTE\nWe are proud to bring you the first of many MNCEC based road rallies across the great state of Minnesota. This first year we will be going up to Lake Superior by finishing in the great city of Duluth and the plan is to bring you to some of the most beautiful roads and scenic views that we can offer. The focus of our rally is NOT on how fast you can get from start to finish\, but on testing our rally teams on 4 different skill sets at our checkpoints: physical abilities\, teamwork\, driving skill\, and mental knowledge. The top finishers of this rally will be the ones who do the best at the checkpoint activities. Each activity is worth 25% of your overall score and point are awarded top to bottom. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nPHYSICAL\n\n\n\n\n \nTEAMWORK\n\n\n\n\n \nDRIVING SKILL\n\n\n\n\n \nKNOWLEDGE\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs another attempt to curb speeding and aggressive road behavior\, we will have more than a dozen of MNCEC’s best photographers grabbing beautiful shots of your vehicle against some amazing fall backdrops. This event is rain or shine and we ask that you bring a vehicle that can handle fall weather. We are limiting this first year to 200 teams total\, so come and enjoy the ride! \nCLUB BOUNTY (OPTIONAL)\nFor our first year we will have a club bounty for those who are doing the rally as a club effort. A club will be made up of a minimum of 5 teams and a maximum of 10 teams who are participating on the rally. The winning club will have the highest average score between each of the teams that make up their club. The prize this for the first year is a $1000 cash bounty and an award your club will hold onto until you are potentially dethroned. \nWHAT YOU NEED TO PARTICIPATE\n1) A current driver’s license and insurance policy for your vehicle. \n2) A street legal car with basic functioning features.\n(For example: working lights\, windshield wipers\, rear-view mirror\, working brakes\, seat belts\, and tires in road-worthy condition etc.) \n3) A navigator\, teammate\, or person you can stand to be in a car with for 8 hours. \n4) $350 for the entry fee which covers the items listed in the pie chart! \n \nWe will be having Tint Pros/Platinum Auto Wraps install all livery kits this year as they are a 3M approved shop\, but reach out to us for scheduling (removing the vinyl is your responsibility or leave it on for a discount in the future). We will have a couple weekends where we will knock out a bunch of kit installs\, but if you cant make those we will have some weekdays that work as well. Installs begin on September 23rd and will continue up to the day before the rally if needed.

From feeding the families and staff at the Children’s Hospital on holidays\, serving meals to military families before they deploy\, supporting the Lions Club\, his Church – Zion Lutheran\, the city of Brooklyn Park and their Fire Department\, Can-Do Canines\, and far too many others to list – he is always giving to others. \nThru multiple surgeries\, chemo\, radiation\, and TONS of doctor appointments\, Jim has hardly missed a day at the Drive In. He is STRONG and DETERMINED to fight this. \nWith the support of his staff\, the restaurant continues to stay open\, but he has not been able to do much of his booming catering business or stay open on Sundays. This has accounting for over 40% loss of business.
