Congrats to Jerry Forness, you are this week’s “Car of the Week” winner. Your “48 Ford Convertible is gorgeous. We captured some photos of this amazing car recently at the 2018 All Ford Car Show at Apple Ford in Shakopee MN. Jerry’s car is a one of a kind and is also known as a FLincoln! Part Ford and part Lincoln. It has “49” headlights, “49” tail lights, “48” push button door openers. The interior trim is fashioned after the “49” Lincoln Cosmopolitan. It has power windows and a power top.  The custom chrome trimming down each side of the car adds a unique touch with a “40 Ford” bumper to accommodate the chrome side trim better. Jerry bought the car from Steve’s Auto Restoration in Portland Oregon in 2012. The car was originally built for Steve’s business partner – Fred Reynolds. The car has won several awards over the time Jerry has owned it. Jerry said he bought the car mainly because he had one like it when he was in high school. This is truly a 1 of a kind car with a great story behind it. Thanks for sharing it with us!

We spotted this beauty while attending the “Back to the 50’s” 2018 car show. Congrats to Pat & Holly Heintzman, you are this week’s “Car of the Week” winner. Thank you for becoming a member. This is a beautiful 1940 Buick with Candy Brandywine paint, it’s powered by a 455 V8 with  a turbo 350 trans automatic and a 10 bolt rear end. The interior has leather seats from a ’94 El Dorado, custom door panels and carpet. The top has been chopped 3″, Frenched head lights, molded skirts, flattened fender flares 2″ on each side, shaved door handles, trunk handles and a diamond plate firewall. It sits on a channeled frame from a Monte Carlo with full air ride. 20 x 12 rears and 18 x 9 front FOOSE Nitrous rims. Pat and his wife are members of the Valley Vintage car club in Fargo ND.

We captured some photos of this amazing 1940 Ford Pickup recently at the Henderson Classic Car Roll-in. The paint is a custom PPG Prince Purple Rain Pearl. The engine is a 350 cid with a 350 tranny. The custom Schott Velocity 18″ wheels on the front and 19″ on the rear gives this “40 Ford” the final touch. Jerry said the restoration was done by Dick’s Hot Rod Shop in Lakeville and the process took 8 months. Great Job! This truck is truly stunning inside and out
